Purdue QB Austin Burton spent the 2020 summer training at M2The former UCLA quarterback Austin Burton announced this spring that he is transferring to Purdue, adding much-needed experience and depth to the Boilermakers' roster.
The 6-foot-2, 197-pound quarterback entered the NCAA transfer portal on March 4. He has started one game in three seasons at UCLA, playing in five total contests. Burton completed 68.8 percent of his passes (44-for-64) in his career for the Bruins. In his lone start, a loss to Oregon State, he played well and finished the game 27-for-41 passing for 236 yards and one touchdown pass. Austin has spent the late spring and summer training at M2 QB Academy in Massachusetts. "Over the past few months I have been able to train with Mike at M2. The training and development has certainly taken my game to another level". With the BIG Ten season being postponed, we will have to wait at least until February to see Austin compete for the Boilermakers. |
Mass Pirates Professional QB Sean Brackett spends the 2020 offseason working out at M2 QB AcademySean has been training with M2 QB Academy since January 2020 and has been consistently working out 1-2 times a week with us. Sean is a former National Arena League MVP and has been quoted in saying this is the best offseason he has had throwing since becoming a professional. Sean has been in contact with outdoor leagues such as the CFL and NFL. We look forward to continuing to help Sean in his Professional Football journey!
“Like I said before, this is the best I’ve felt physically, emotionally and mentally in a long time at this point in the year because every year at this point, I’m getting beat up and working to try and get my body to 100 percent every single week,” Brackett said. “This is definitely a little bit different with not having to deal with the bumps and bruises that kind of come with the name of the game at the position. I’m 28-years-old but I feel like I’m 22-23 right now.” |
